I am just trying to figure out the "Paluxy River" controversy: based on paleontologists' thorough analysis of the position of the arch and metatarsus of each print's indentation pressure and shape, those "footprints" couldn't have been giant humans' prints....they were merely a variation of the way certain dinosaurs walked (upright vs crouching down when stalking prey). Genesis 1:20-23 said that God created all the animals on the 5th day and then created Adam & Eve on the 6th day (Genesis 1:26-31). Now, given that God lives outside of time (since He's "alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end", Revelation 1:8), 1 day could have been a gap of millions and millions of years. Based on that before/after logic, humans and dinosaurs could not possibly have coexisted, right? The "giants" were offsprings between "sons of God" and "daughters of men," which was after Adam & Eve (Genesis 6: 1-2), not during the dinosaur era. I've already posted this in the Anthropology section, but I'm posting it again in this section in hopes of getting more exposure for more answers. I have already been through college-level Biology, Chemistry, Calculus 3, as well as Calculus-Based Physics....I have already made my decision a long time ago: I believe in both the Bible and science; neither contradict the other....I posted several of these types of questions to see how the Christians and Creationists would answer----IF they would dare to tread this water (no pun intended)----and try to refute scientific evidence. I quoted those verses as an illustration of how we should use logic to question the Bible, having "discerning minds" as instructed in the Bible, not as an intention to cause dissensions in Christian beliefs. Would YOU even be willing to die for your friends and family, least of all for strangers? Or how about just dying for a value you believe passionately about?

Will dinosaurs return after humans are no more? I was thinking that in order for humans to exist, dinosaurs had to die off. Even though humans were not responsible for the extinction of dinosaurs, we create conditions today where we have almost no animal predators that prey on us and control our numbers. We kill off any animal that would have killed us first. When humans die off I predict that other animals will evolve into something different. I imagine that Komodo Dragons, iguanas, and other reptiles will become larger without a human presence on the Earth, and that they will evolve into whole new species of dinosaurs that have never before walked the Earth.

Did You Know-Possible to Bring Back Dinosaurs? I was watching a documentary called "Dinosaurs Return to Life" and it basically said how it is now possible to bring a dinosaur back to life. All you need is DNA and a bird. Tweak the bird's genes and you'll get a dinosaur. They experimented on a chicken embryo and the result was a dinosaur-like long tail. Dinosaurs in the Bible? When I was about 8 years old, I picked up a Children's Bible and started reading it from the beginning. I never got all the way to the end. But the thing that really puzzled me at that age was dinosaurs. From what I could recall, the world began with Adam & Eve. There was no mention of dinosaurs living thousands of years before that. Dinosaurs and Mammals Evolving Questions? Is it possible an asteroid never hit but instead, the dinosaurs evolved into birds slowly overtime? What's the proof an asteroid hit? I'm not familiar with the whole theory. And paleontalogists have found some dinosaurs are related to birds like how the T-rex walked compared to an emu or ostrich and how some dinosaurs had feathers. There has been a very heated debate about it. Also, mammals have been with dinosaurs as early as 150 million years ago. In a documentary, a person stated those mammals evolved into apes, rats, etc. How could there be species evolving if an asteroid hit? Wouldn't they be wiped out or did the mammals survive?

I have personally been to Glen Rose Texas to see the Pauluxy River Bed where there are STILL dinosaur footprints AND human footprints in the same layer of rock, crossing paths with each other AND even interlaced. Teaching kids wrong (dinosaurs)? I saw in this book named "Knowledge Masters Dinosaurs" at page 19, there's a wrong description of the dinosaur "Compsognathus".. It is said here that: Q. how could giants like dinosaurs have flown? A. Tyrannosaurus would never have got airbone. Some Compsognathus and Ornitholestes, were small, lightly built with hollow bones and could run quickly. Perhaps they chased small lizards and insects and began to take to the air.
