My daughter stated that she wants to see real dinosaur bones, but my parents are disabled and unable to make the trip in the heat to the La Brea Pits. Calvin & hobbes dinosaur question? I seem to remember a strip where calvin goes to a museum & sees a dinosaur skeleton. Have you heard of the Dinosaur Adventure Land? Someone sent me an email to this. This guy has this museum showing that dinosaurs and humans coexisted. I thought it was just some goofy theme park, like a joke or something, but it turns out the owners of the theme park actually truly believe that humans and dinosaurs roamed the Earth together and the museum is their "proof." Dinosaurs in the bible? I'm very confused about Christianity.... And for some reason, my pastor brother can't give me an answer to my many questions. They're just questions, I'm not being a smart@$$. So we have dinosaurs in museums. I learned about lots of them way back when, and I also remember Pangea (you know, when Earth only had basically one big chunk of land and then a meteor hit it and it broke into the continents we have today). So um.... when did this all happen? Is there any mention of it in the Bible? This is why I'm so confused. I was raised in a church but always had questions and everyone always just told me "Just believe, that's all you can do". Well too bad so sad. I am only looking for honest answers. Meaning to dreaming about zoos or museums? I've been having very vivid, strange dreams about libraries, museums and zoos almost as long as I can remember. Usually either they're dark, creepy, maze-like places and I get lost in them, or they're maze-like but full of cool stuff and I run out of time to make my way back to something amazing I found before the place closes. Sometimes I can't even tell exactly what it is, because there will be zoo exhibits right by dinosaur models. More often than not something else weird is going on, like the one I remember from a few nights ago where I was walking around a museum or a zoo with some other people, and we all had different species of small wildcats riding on our shoulders (and we were sort of excited by the whole thing-- "Wow, you got a fishing cat! I heard they were mean. Look how cute my oncilla is!") Libraries I can figure, because I'm a librarian. They tend to be on my mind. I wonder though, is there are specific thing museums or zoos are supposed to symbolize?

How accurate can paleontologists make a dinosaur skeleton with only few broken decayed pieces of bone? From just a jawbone and a few teeth can they really develop the entire skeleton? It seems there must be a lot of hypothesizing. Do other scientist often disagree on the results? Is that why the museum keeps the fossils under tight control during the study of the new find, they don't want dissenting voices on what they have concluded?

I live in Moreno Valley and my parents are disabled so we cannot travel far.
