Dinosaurs.?
This question is concerning dinosaurs and the existence of God. I'm just confused about how history experts and such claim that dinosaurs did once exist in our world. According to the bible (and my Dad) dinosaurs never really existed, but how can evidence - bones - be explained?

- the bible and your dad are wrong i have fossils and they are really cool
- By tossing aside the Bible and telling your Dad you're going to investigate it yourself. A visit to your local natural history museum would be a nice start. Many kind people there eager to help.
- Simple. Your Dad and the Bible are wrong if they say that. Actually, I don't think the Bible says anywhere that dinosaurs never existed - it just doen't mention them. Which is not surprising because the large dinosaurs went extinct 65 million years before it was written. Now what was your question about the existence of God?
- the dinsaurs where real its that fairy tale book that is a lie the bible is a man made fairy tale not true history
- Dinosaurs (Bones) - Real Bible - Real, but fictional Your Father - Also Real, but delusional
- How can bones last that long uder the ground. I was thinking about it last time. In many countries it only takes a few years for the human body to decay under the ground. So why would it be different for animals?
- There was a testing ground for the ngeli kingdon & lso the animal kingdon, Ge to Gen 9:1 God told Noah to REPLINISH the earth, Then go to Gen. !:28 God also told Adam & Eve to REPLINLISH the earth or to fill it up again, Many people tries to clean that word replinish from the bible Because they don't wnt to face it as to meaning FILL IT UP AGAIN. They also don' t want to acept the verse where Gopd had chained evil angels into outer darknes to be judged at the great white throne judgement.
- The bible is wrong and so is your father. What didn't exist during biblical times were archaeologists and reasonable explanations. The myths about dragons are directly related to the early discovery of dinosaur bones.
- Dinosaurs did exist. The Bible is not a historical book about the earth, it is a spiritual book about our relationship to God. It does not discount God to know that dinosaurs lived at one time. God can use anything and do anything.
- It's not really an answer that can be explained in a few words or less. It's the topic of many many thousands of hours debate for the past century +. The basic arguments are - the bible's wrong - the devil's responsible - the bible is not the literal truth - Dinosaurs are the Bibical Leviathan I'm sure there's more out there - & in truth probably listed here anyway... .
- I believe the bible to be 100% ccorrect. I also believe that dinosaurs existed. I DO NOT believe in evolution. at all. mutations yes, evolution no. How old is our world, God does not say. I do believe man has only been hear 6, maybe 7 thousand years. You would start with Jesus and count back words till you got to Adam and Eve. What God did or did not put on this planet before Adam and Eve, I can not say. I do know the animals where here before man. That is simply stated in Gen. I do not see that the two must conflict. Some want to make it so, and no one will know for sure until we meet our Lord. I think it is more important to focus on the fact that God is the creator, everything that is he made, and nothing is that he did not make.
- Well the simple facts are these; God is imaginary, the bible is a book of fairy tales and Dinosaurs really did exist because unlike god, we have tangible and credible proof of their existence. Hopefully that helped you and steers you onto a path that is based on reality and science, rather than mythology.
- Some creationists state that the reason that dinosaur bones exist is because Satan put them on earth to confound and test us. There is also the Creation Museum in KY where they are suggesting that man and dinosaurs lived together in perfect harmony. I find all the above highly improbable. If you are confused, do some research on line and draw your own conclusions. You may wish to look into whether the earth was created twice because it actually mentions that in Genesis (King James version) and discuss that possibility with your father. Again, just conduct your own research and draw your own conclusions rather than relying on what others tell you.
- ● When did God create dinosaurs, and when did they become extinct?—U.S.A. The Bible does not provide specific answers to this question. According to the Genesis account, animals were created during the fifth and sixth creative periods or ‘days.’ If the Hebrew expression translated “great sea monsters” [Hebrew, tan‧ni‧nim′] includes dinosaurs, which often inhabited swampy, watery areas, this would mean that dinosaurs were created on the fifth “day.” (Gen. 1:21) We do not know whether they continued to exist until man was created (toward the close of the sixth “day”). At the very latest it seems likely that they must have disappeared off the earth at the time of the flood of Noah’s day. Dinosaurs were reptiles, and some kinds of dinosaurs bear strong resemblance structurally and otherwise to lizards (sauros is, in fact, the Greek word for “lizard”; saura in Leviticus 11:29, LXX). Not all types of dinosaurs were of such gigantic size. Hence, even if they had survived till the Flood, this would not have required taking pairs of the mammoth varieties into the ark. Other smaller members of the particular family or “kind” to which these belonged would have sufficed to fulfill the divine command.—Gen. 6:19, 20; 7:14. Some of the older translations of the Bible at times use the word “dragons” to translate the Hebrew tan‧ni‧nim′ (“sea monsters,” NW). (Ps. 74:13; 148:7; Isa. 27:1, Authorized Version) The term “dragon” (Greek, dra′kon) is found in the Christian Greek Scriptures. It has been suggested as possible that, rather than having a purely mythical source, this expression may originally have been applied to enormous creatures such as the dinosaurs, taking on mythical tones only after these mammoth creatures had long disappeared. Interestingly, many of the mythical depictions of the “dragon” strongly resemble certain types within the family of huge reptilian creatures that includes the dinosaur
