dinosaurs????
If Adam and Eve were the first creatures that God made, where do the dinosaurs come in? Obviously they existed, But according to the Bible, There was nothing before God created Adam and Eve and the animals. So whats up with that. Is the Bible wrong or are scientists wrong? oh my god, i've read the bible, so i mixed up that adam and eve were created after the animals. that isn't even the question!

- The Bible isn't about dinosaurs. It's about God's plan for the redemption of man.
- The bible is wrong.
- The people who wrote the bible didn't know anything about dinosaurs - so how could they write anything about them. Also: The bible is wrong. We've known that the biblical creation myth is no more true than the hundreds of other creation myths (google that term) for over a century.
- The Bible was written by earlier peoples that had no idea such creatures ever existed.
- READ THE BIBLE , LOOK FOR THE WORD BEHEmoths. there not talking about spiders, or rhinos
- Adam and Eve were created on Day 6, after all the animals, fish, birds, and plantlife. Where does the Bible exclude dinosaurs? Nowhere in my bible. I suspect, however, that those that were on the ark, did not find adequate food supplies after the Flood and died off.
- According to the Bible, Adam and Eve were Not the first creatures God made. It's always wise to read the Scriptures yourself instead on relying on what someone else tells you about it, because others can have misinformation also.
- Have you even read the Bible? If you had you would know that Adam & Eve were not the first creatures that God made.
- Planted by the Devil, the bones were. This is what Christians will tell you. More than one theory, there is. Other Christians believe that, co-existed, humans and dinosaurs did.
- I love dinosaurs! I have been studying dinosaurs since I was 5. So I had the same question about the Bible. Because they aren't mentioned, it doesn't mean that anything is wrong...just that it is not mentioned. There are some possible things to explain...but I don't know for sure, since I wasn't there: 1. Dinosaurs could have co-existed with man, but are not mentioned in the Bible accounts. There are in fact fossil foot prints of men and dinosaurs that have been found. What happened to the dinosaurs? Don't know, they could have died in the flood. 2. Dinosaurs and their world ended before God formed our world today. This is a "re-creation" model and argues that something happened (something cataclysmic) and the world became void of life...and then God began it again. Far fetched? Well you can check out Genesis 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3. Dinosaurs just did not matter to the story of the Bible, and so they were not included. Keep thinking!
- Maybe the dinosaurs wrote their own bible. We'll just never know.
- There are 2 animals in the bible (Behemoth and Leviathan) that could describe dinosaurs. There is evidence that man and Dinosaurs have lived together like legends that have been handed down and ancient artifacts with dinosaur like creatures engraved in them. There are even stories that date within the past 100 years of people that claim to have seen dinosaurs. The biggest reason people claim that dinosaurs and man have never lived together is because they feel dinosaurs were too big and ferocious for man to deal with. However there is evidence that many creatures where larger in the past, including Humans. I do believe the bible makes it clear that humans lived with all of the animals that God created at one time or another. So while I don't know for a fact that humans and dinosaurs coexisted together there is enough evidence that I won't dismiss it.
- God made dinosaurs when he made everything else. Some people say that Behemoth and Leviathan in the book of Job are talking about dinosaurs. I don't know if this is true but those animals do fit the description of dinosaurs. The word dinosaur could not appear in the Bible because the King James Version was translated before the term dinosaur was invented. Many people on here will tell you that they were here millions of years before man but that information is incorrect. Many ancient civilizations lived with dinosaurs and it shows in their artwork. http://www.crystalinks.com/icastones.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyY9Fuv3A9w http://www.genesispark.org/genpark/ancient/ancient.htm http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t59181.html How could all of these people know what dinosaurs looked like unless they seen them with their own eyes. These come from almost every continent on earth from many different civilizations. These people just recorded what they seen in their every day life. They had no idea that someone was going to come along many years later and say that dinosaurs lived millions of years before they even existed. They have also found soft tissue and red blood cells in a T-Rex bone. Anyone with any common sense and reason can tell you that there is no way that soft tissue can last 65 million years. http://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/dinosaur.html
- The Bible is never wrong. I think in the book of Job, he discusses the behemoth and that may have been a description for a dinosaur, but I'm not sure.
- 1)Before the flood men lived to be as old as 900 yrs. 2)Lizards continue to grow until they die. 3)There are lizards on earth today. 4)things tend to get misshapen when they're overgrown and too heavy for the earths gravity.
- Well Becca Dinosaurs are not specifically mentioned in the bible, there are two creatures that some interpret as dinosaurs, but it seems highly unlikely that they were actually dinosaurs as we know the earliest fossil of a dinosaur is some 65 million years older than the oldest fossil of any human. Some people interpret the Genisis story as symbolic, and that 6 days could have been extrapulated over the entire course of the exisentence of our universes, some 4.7 billion years. But Adam and Eve were not the first creatures made acccording to the bible.
