I DO NOT believe dinosaurs ever roamed the earth. Anybody agree?

why do i say this? well, 1. they were supposedly here for about 165 million years and then they all of a sudden disappear? (come on now) i know what your going to say, "birds, lizards, crocodiles..." no, they are not 'dinosaurs'. The term "dinosaur" was ascribed in the 1800's to the fossilized remains of animals that NO LONGER appear to roam the earth. 2. it is not hard to take a bunch of bones, put them together and call whatever it is you make a 'dinosaur'. 3. look at all of the animals of today that resemble a 'dinosaur' and some are not even reptilian. (eg. giraffe, rhino) 4. why is it that only scientists can find fossils? when was the last time you were walking down the street or digging in the yard and found a huge head with razor sharp teeth? i'm gonna take a guess and say...NEVER! 5. they made a few shows for kids that have 'dinosaurs' in the show but they are supposed to be so scary.. barney, dinosaurs, land of the lost. you can believe what you want..tooth fairy, santa.... okay so i guess everybody on here believes dinosaurs roamed the earth except Mariam Y (who will get the best answer lol) so basically you all believe what people have been telling you for years and years and years. i wanted to see how stupid people really are. your calling me stupid?? i need to be put in a white jacket or whatever it is you said? okay well, to break the news to you.. dinosaurs was a test of god to see how many people believed in them. how bout you go do some research! later 'dinosaurs' were not part of evolution, they are part of creation..of man. i just finished watching this video on youtube, watch it. his voice might be a little boring but watch from start to finish. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2IPfMmUemg&feature=related

I believe that dinosaurs once roamed the earth, they have proof why wouldn't you believe it? I had a teacher that traveled around the world with her husband and she found dinosaur bones that were tooken to a muesem. She's not the only one... perhaps you should do a little more research.
the area i live in was completely under water then...i've found a few trilobite fossils further north. There are places where you can see fossils sticking out of a mountain!! Jeeze!

Sorry, but whoever told you what you now think you know is, at best, uneducated. Before the K-T event (the Alvarez meteorite), most of the larger dinosaur species had been declining for thousands of years. The meteorite just finished them off. Dinosaurs were warm-blooded and many, if not most, of them were feathered by 65 million years ago. The smaller ones, that survived, evolved into the various bird species. BTW, fossils are, by definition, stone, not bones. "Dinosaur" means "terrible lizard" - it has nothing to do with being extinct. (And it's a misnomer - dinosaurs weren't lizards.) Why is it that only computer programmers can write computer programs. When was the last time that you were writing something and it turned out to be a computer program? Evidence that computer programs don't really exist. There's more evidence that dinosaurs existed than there is that smoking causes cancer and sex causes babies.
Please do the world a favor. Stop believing in gravity also, and attempt to walk directly from the top of a tall building to the top of the one across the street. Remember, it's for the children!

The remaining bones and DNA of them should be big sign for their existence. They can not make fake fossils that dates for millions of years ago.Don't u think so?
The earth is about 6500 years old and was created by God. Before, during and after the flood dinosaurs roamed the earth. They are mentioned 41 times in the Bible so are not as old as some might think. There is also the sightings all over the world of creatures that have been found in the fossil records which were made about 4700 years ago during a catastrophic flood mentioned in the Bible. There is also the fish Coelacanth caught be Japanese fishermen thought to only exist in fossil records but now has been seen or caught several times. A Christian believes very much in dinosaurs and fossils but not the millions of years rubbish.

A teenager recently discovered the fossilized remains of the largest bird ever known for example. Actually, some of the first dinosaurs skeletons ever reconstructed were pretty bad. The ancient Greeks for example thought that Mammoth skeletons were the remains of giants.. Nonetheless, a lot of smart people have devoted their lives to re-assembling dinosaur fossils, and while there is much to be discovered, the actual existence of dinosaurs is unquestionable. There's also dinosaur skin casts, footprints, eggs, blood*, and even soft tissue inside some of the largest bones. *blood sucking insects preserved in amber have dinosaur blood in them.

Is it easy to find bones from animals to make a T-Rex skull? All the dinosaur fossils are genuine, and it's not anything made up. If you insist on calling dino fossils "fake", then I challenge you to make a "fossil" of a stegosaur, with chicken bones!

A fossil in my home town was discovered by a farmer A fossil in South america was found by a young boy A fossil in China was found by a gas company A fossil in the US was found by a miner A whole bunch of fossils was found by local citizens, that might not even know what it is.... Take a trip to Dinosaur National Monument....Google it first to get the directions on how to get there. Reseve your "cave" room early too.... Actually it is a real area with ongoing "digs" and a ton of research available.... You can see all the dinosaur bones you'd like and get the latest "scoop" about them..... more than you might want to know.... You can even go hunting for "live dinosaurs" and keep all of them you find...... The bones are visible but they're "do not touch" material. Now the tooth fairy..... sure like to see her.
