Meaning to dreaming about zoos or museums?

I've been having very vivid, strange dreams about libraries, museums and zoos almost as long as I can remember. Usually either they're dark, creepy, maze-like places and I get lost in them, or they're maze-like but full of cool stuff and I run out of time to make my way back to something amazing I found before the place closes. Sometimes I can't even tell exactly what it is, because there will be zoo exhibits right by dinosaur models. More often than not something else weird is going on, like the one I remember from a few nights ago where I was walking around a museum or a zoo with some other people, and we all had different species of small wildcats riding on our shoulders (and we were sort of excited by the whole thing-- "Wow, you got a fishing cat! I heard they were mean. Look how cute my oncilla is!") Libraries I can figure, because I'm a librarian. They tend to be on my mind. I wonder though, is there are specific thing museums or zoos are supposed to symbolize?

The zoo may also represent chaos and confusion as implied by the common phrase "this place is a zoo!" You may need to tidy up some situation in your life
2. I see a common thread in that all three are places where things are stored and exhibited, where people come to look at things on display. Often dreams about storage deal with your storehouse of memories, but in this case I would wonder if the zoo and museum also represent your workplace since they are similar symbolically. Wild animals may represent your animalistic side, often sexual. Shoulders often connote carrying a burden, but I'm not so sure in this case. I think it's more like the wildness is almost on parade (you naughty librarian, you), or being controlled but not in an overbearing way, more like showing them off. Zoo dreams are often about the animal in you being caged, but that's not the case here; it seems to be more positive. Look how cute my oncilla is, that just sounds sexual to me, I don't even know what an oncilla is, but it's definitely something being admired and shown off.
