How do I convince my 74 yr old mother that dinosaurs really existed?

She doesn't believe it because it says nothing about dinosaurs in the bible. She says that all the scientists & archaeologists have made up all the evidence that they've found to confirm the existence of dinosaurs.

5. A natural history museum... Then ask her to explain all those huge creatures bones... If that does not work, take her to Florida or Australia to see the alligators and crocodiles... If that doesn't work, let them eat her... One less ignorant person!

8. She fears that the existence of Dinosaurs would mean that there is no God, and when she dies she doesn't got to Heaven or anywhere else. Would you take that away from her, the poor deluded old woman?

24. sounds like she is pretty set in her ways and i've learned that once a person surpasses a certain age you can't change their behavior or beliefs. Basically, there is no way to convince her because she is already convinced otherwise. I think the existence of dinosaurs is a reality and there really is no disputing it but when someone whose your grandmother's age saids it didn't happen well although we know it did you say yeah you're right grandma...
25. That would be like my mom trying to convince me that God really exists, when the dinosaurs never left any evidence of him. (I'm agnostic anyway, but that's besides the point.) Someone mentioned up above in a comment that would (not exactly worded but how I perceived it) take her belief away that if there were dinosaurs and the bible never mentioned them, it would mean there just might not be a heaven. Does she agree that there is fossilized vegetation? Does she believe there was an "Ice Age"? If the answer is "No" to either one of those, you are going to play hell trying to get her to acknowledge something she just does not want to believe. My mother is 73. I bought her a cell phone. It makes her giggle when it rings in her purse. That's all they need at this point in their lives, something to amuse them, make them smile and something to look forward to. They already have our love, devotion and appreciation.
26. Well, you could try taking her to Drumheller in Alberta (lots 'o dinosaur skeletons dug up there). Or you could enlist the help of her clergyperson (assuming they're not a looney). But chances are that if she's lived 74 years insisting there were no dinosaurs, your chances of convincing her otherwise are slim.
27. First find a bible. Next read Genesis Chapter , its only 1 page. Then explain to you grand mother that god’s creations hade an order. That the fish in the water where created, then animals on land, then man. Then explain to her that in genesis when it talks about the days god created things, it does not literally mean day by day, it is just a way to understand the time line. If she can except that point out that god created animals ( including dinosaurs) before man and that some of these animals ( including dinosaurs) died off before the time of mans creation, and well before moses wrote the old testament. 29. Just leave her in her ways. There's no reason to argue about things with someone so unable to accept fact, especially at that age. I would also suggest running for the hills because if she is that close minded i can't imagine her allowing you to have much of a life.
30. Alright, you have to think rationally about what she believes and show where the two things can meet in the middle. Perhaps science scientist have never found "the garden of Eden," you could talk with her about the possibility of dinosaurs being part of the world that was outside the garden of Eden. It was supposed to be harsh and have things put there by Satan, right? Kinda rusty so don't remember, but just try to give options, don't try to make her see it the way everyone else does. Simply accepting their existence is better than total denial.
