Do you think humans and dinosaurs would be able to coexist?
Like pretend dinosaurs were as common as...well a really common animal. Do you think that we could both live freely on earth or do you think one of us would exterminate the other Haha yes, I just watched Jurrasic Park, that's where the question came from. But imagine like throughout mankinds lifespan...would we have made it as far as we have today?

- Have you missed Jurassic Park? The people are the ones who get eaten.
- no, we would be so terrified of them that we would hunt them and they would become extinct that or they would eat us, they are used to being the dominant species, so are we, if we faced off it would get ugly we would win in the end, they are not used to technology and in the time it took them to adapt we would have killed them oh and mr dilong, they are not classified as dinosaurs, they are descendants but hey, we are descendants of rats (real far back) but we are still considered humans
- Dude, that would be so freaking awesome, but didn't you see Jurassic Park? It just doesn't work out.
- I dont know. | would probably find a way to kill a T-rex if it were roaming my yrad.
- they are big...REALLY BIG
- no they survive on instincts, they could not physically learn to cooperate and the only way we could both survive if the dinosaurs could be tamed. cool idea though imagine riding a triceratops to work
- The ones that would run amock in society would have to be caged or killed. No other option except to put them in preserves, which I'm sure we would do too. But the water ones would be fine, we wouldn't even see 'em mostly. But something would be totally out of whack to have huge reptiles running around... this is the time of the mammals. Cause we're better equipped. And other mammals would probably kill them too for food, nothing we can do about a tiger killing a dinosaur.... they're just not strong enough to survive anymore. Better things now.
- There would be more of us than them and they have to eat. I think we would make a good food source so they would tolerate us.
- Probably not. We would be squished/eaten
- Probably, as long as we avoided the predators and weren't susceptible to some sort of bizarre disease they carried. As a note, birds are considered a type of dinosaur, so we coexist just fine with them!
- yup. because as humans we would cage them and sell tickets to people to see them. we would never be over taken, were just way too smart for them and there are too many of us. if anything people from china and africa would kill them for food all the time or something.
- well, seeing as there were carnivors and herbivores..and both of the same..it would be a half and half... the carnivors would try to eat us cause we're meat, and the herbivores..well as long as they have green there wouldn't be a problem just keep them out of the way. But the carnivors i believe we would be the first to exterminate them because of the circumstances and the fact we want to live. Do you see where i'm heading with that? lol i hope so cuz i'm trying to make sense in words of what's in my head.
- I reckon we'd be able to do it in a primitive society. I mean, we used to run and hide from lions, then go back out and eat buffalo and whatnot. Circle of life stuff. But dinosaurs wouldn't make it in today's world. They're too big. They'd be too annoying to have lumbering around. We'd have to ship them out to someplace deserted by humans or deserted by all life (like whatever plane dinosaurs go to when they're killed)
- of course not. if dinosars were still here today..... we would not be.
- Yes. We coexist with lions and leopards, elephants and buffaloes... to some extent anyway.
- Possibly. Wild animals tend to hang out in the wild, not go roaming into the cities. So I don't think we'd have to fear stepping outside and seeing T-Rex. Plus, as others pointed out, "dinosaurs" includes a lot of very different species, many of which would proabably be harmless.
- of course one would exterminate the other the dinosaurs will EAT US!
- Very few large land animals - either carnivores or herbivores - have survived the advent of humanity. We either hunt the herbivores to extinction (and thereby cause their predators to become extinct), or herd them, and then kill their predators because they are attacking our herds. In terms of who would exterminate the other - it would absolutely be humans who would "win".
