- The Natural History Museum in London is fantastic - not just for dinosaurs, just generally.
- Dinosaur Isle is a purpose-built dinosaur museum located on the Isle of Wight in southern England. The museum was designed by Isle of Wight architects Rainey Petrie Johns in the shape of a giant pterodactyl. It claims to be the first custom-built Dinosaur museum in Europe. The £2.3 million cost of the museum was provided by Isle of Wight Council and the National Lottery Millennium Commission. Dinosaur Isle opened to visitors on 20 August 2001. The museum features numerous replica fossils and life-sized models of Iguanodon, Polacanthus, Eotyrannus and Neovenator - the latter is animatronic. In addition, guests are given the opportunity to speak to experts and watch them at work. - The best Museum I know from own experience is Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt am Main, Germany http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senckenberg_Museum . They have much "stuff" there, several items were found in famous Messel Pit, an UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 35 km (20 mi) south of Frankfurt. If you happen to get in that region you can also visit the pit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messel_pit A great place must be the Berlin Museum of Natural History where you can also see an Archaeopteryx: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museum_f%C3%BCr_Naturkunde
