Dinosaur Files

Have you heard of the Dinosaur Adventure Land?

Someone sent me an email to this. This guy has this museum showing that dinosaurs and humans coexisted. I thought it was just some goofy theme park, like a joke or something, but it turns out the owners of the theme park actually truly believe that humans and dinosaurs roamed the Earth together and the museum is their "proof." Maybe it's just me but I find that so funny. http://www.dinosauradventureland.com/ rajin thats funny. I'm afraid to find out what else goes on in Texas.

  1. CSE...The Hovind family. So why do you discount the park. The park isn't exactly designed for adults in mind. It is definitely a park with more stuff for kids. I have heard Erik Hovind speak. The things they present are quite interesting. What's so hard to believe that dinosaurs and humans coexisted? They don't stretch any findings to fit their ideas. It's quite interesting if you just check it out.
  2. Hey were not all quacks. Some are a "little" overzealous. We got a guy down here in Texas that's thinks he's going to put a lizard in a hyperbaric chamber and make a dinosaur. I'M NOT KIDDING!!!!
  3. Erik Hovind is continuing the notorious legacy of his father, Kent "Dr. Dino" Hovind ... a young-earth creationist so far out there that even answersingenesis.com is embarassed by his arguments and tactics: http://web.archive.org/web/20050313064211/http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs2002/1011hovind.asp http://www.answersingenesis.org/news/ross_hovind_analysis.asp Kent Hovind is currently serving jail time for tax fraud ... which would not be relevant to his anti-evolutionary beliefs except for the fact that this is the same guy who claims to offer $250,000 to anybody who can "prove" evolution to his satisfaction. His financial woes are an indication of just how genuine this offer is. ryan ... Why is it so hard to believe that dinosaurs and humans coexisted? Only that paleontologists are fairly unanimous in the understanding that dinosaurs disappeared from the fossil record about 65 million years before the first humans walked the earth. This is not just a discrepancy of a few hundred thousand years ... that's 65 million years. It is the creationists complete inability to understand the magnitude of the time scales involved that is the amazing thing. That's why. It is not comforting to know that this park is not intended for adults but for kids. In fact, it is chilling.
