Was the T-REX the worst DINOSAUR of its time?

Hi, I am curious about the T-rex dinosaur. In all the movies I have seen about dinos the Rex is the one that is always depicted as the worst killer. Was this the only animal or is there any other animal that was the be the same way? I know velociraptors were bad but what about the rest of the other animals. I saw this movie called Walking with dinosaurs and it was just about the same thing as previous movies..

  1. scientists are agreeing lately that because of the T-rex's size...once it became an adult it was too huge to hunt so it turned to scavanging...that's why it had huge ole-factories and sort of bad vision...the velociraptor is known for having the largest brain and social behaviors...like a wolf pack...but once they killed something they would have to leave once a T-Rex showed up. Juvinile Trexs probably hunted insects, mammaloids and small reptiles.
  2. if you were thinking of Jurassic Park, I'd say the velociraptors were way worse than the T-rex. The rex has size, but the velociraptors had the brains and shrewdness of a real killer. It may seem that the T-rex is often depicted as the meanest, but it may also be that this is so because we know much more about the T-rex than other raptors that could fit the "deathly" profile. Gargantosaurous is actually a larger predator than the T-rex but very little is known about it.
  3. Recently research has brought to the table that, because of its stature etc it is very likely that T-Rex was more of a scavanger than anything. I found that interesting. There is another carnivore who, while living during the same time period, although being a tad smaller had longer legs and would have been much faster. They still agree that T-Rex would have been a hunter just not as adept at it? Anyway it was interesting.
  4. The alkylasaurus was the most formidable hunter
