Cameron Maybin hit a home run off Roger the dinosaur Clemens today. I hope he has a Great career. Do you think
the Tigers brought him up too early? He was brought up to Triple A last week & hit 4 home runs in 6 games. He'll be on everyones fantasy team next year, with monster numbers.

- No, it's hard to ever bring up a baseball player too early, with the glaring exception being PITCHERS. Baseball is not physical like American football. The physical development is already there for a player like Maybin, and the mental development can only come from experience at the top level.
- Maybin will have a great career. I love what Leyland said about him: "If we (meaning Tigers) are wrong about Maybin, then so is every other team" (meaning that that is who everyone wanted when talking trades).
- I hear they are already putting his plaque together for the HOF.
- Who else noticed that Clemens hit Maybin with a pitch on his next at bat after the home run? Sheesh!! Even at 40+ Roger is still a jerk.
- well i heard hes a great prospect and he was only in in like the minors for a couple of weeks and trust me hes not the only rookie to hit a hr of roger clemens their has been 7 more and Clemens hit on purpose you have to be kidding me right why would he he was trying to go inside and he mist
